Faith Statement

· We believe the Bible, Old and New Testaments is the inspired and infallible Word of God and testifies of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord.  (2 Timothy 3:16;  John 1:1-3)

· We believe in the One true God, eternally existing in three persons as God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  (John 14:26;  Matthew 28:19)

· We believe in the deity of  Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His death on the cross for the atonement of sin, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, His interceding, and His second coming in glory and power. (John 3:16; Luke 1:26-31; Hebrews 4:14-15; Ephesians 1:7; Colossians 3:1; Hebrews 7:25; John 14:3) 

· We believe that man is created in the image of God, born into sin and separated from God, and cannot get to Heaven on his own.  The Good News is God has provided the way through His Son, Jesus. (Genesis 1:27; Romans 3:23; John 14:6)         

· We believe in God’s heart for all men, women, and children to be reconciled (brought into right relationship) to Him (John 3:16-17).   Salvation comes through believing and receiving God’s gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ. (Romans 10:9-13, Ephesians 2:8-9, Titus 3:4-7)

· We believe in the Holy Spirit, who is given by God the Father to the believer in Jesus Christ.  He is the Comforter to counsel, help, intercede, advocate and strengthen those yielded to Him in order to live a Godly life that may bring glory, honor, and praise to God the Father and the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  (John 14:16, 26)  The Holy Spirit is God’s seal that we belong to Him and is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance of eternal life.  (Ephesians 1:13)

· We believe in the Resurrection of believers who have fallen asleep and the rapture of those who remain and are alive upon the Lord’s return to live with Him forever.  (1 Thessalonians 4:14-18) 

· We believe in the unity of the Spirit among believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 4:3-6)

· We believe in the Great Commission, “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. (Mark 16:15)
